There are a lot of things to consider when choosing a Denver newborn photographer to capture your precious newborn memories. For me, safety training is the most important. How long have they be working with newborns and are they trained to safely maneuver and pose your newborn. I am in my 9th year photographing Denver newborns and take workshops every year to learn safety and posing from other photographer.
From there, you want to see if their style matches yours. I like to combine posed shots with natural ones to capture how each baby lays on their own. And if your baby wakes up at the end, I’m all for happy awake newborn shots! I love hats, headbands, wraps and all the fun antique boxes and bowls, I just try to style it so your baby is what shines though first and foremost. I always let clients choose all the blankets, wraps, hats, bonnets, headbands, bowls and boxes. I will help coordinate colors and the feel of the session but never tell you what you have to use. We can try on hats and bonnets and if they don’t look right, take then off. I’m never offended if you want to change a set up, it means more time to play with your sweet baby!!!
Ok, so now that we got that out there onto what I’m working on today… Baby Mason. He was such a sleepy sweet baby. His mama wanted greens and blues for his colors and they were great choices. We tried on a hat but he looked so handsome with his perfect head that we skipped the hat. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for sharing him with me!
